Water Conservation Message

Thank you for your water conservation efforts as we continue our efforts to avoid peak usage of the drinking water and wastewater systems, as many water and wastewater facilities continue operating on emergency power sources. The Department of Public Works would like to remind citizens to continue these efforts until power to these water and wastewater facilities is restored.

Typical ways our customers can conserve water are:

1. Limit or avoid any outdoor water use
2. Take shorter showers
3. Avoid washing partial loads of laundry or dishes
4. Don't leave faucets running

More information on how to save and conserve water is available at http://www.aacounty.org/DPW/Utilities/watersavTips.cfm.

Your efforts to conserve so far have made a significant difference and have prevented even more serious public safety and environmental issues. We hope to lift this water conservation request within the next day.
