County Executive Leopold Announces New Programs on Cable Channel for May

Business Recycling Forum, Senior Idol and Public Works Seminar air

Annapolis, MD (May 2, 2011) - County Executive John R. Leopold today announced that three new programs will air on Anne Arundel Community Television for the month of May, including a recent forum on business recycling, the statewide Senior Idol competition, and a seminar about public works infrastructure maintenance.

"Our business recycling forum, for example, contains a lot of useful information about how small and large businesses can get involved and start their own program. We will continue to post new programs each month."

Several other taped events have run on the cable channel, which is Channel 98 on Comcast and Channel 38 on Verizon, including a recent forum on mental health and the High School Battle of the Bands. For a complete listing of programs and times, go to http://www.aacounty.org/PEG/Channel2.pdf
