County Executive Leopold Announces Forum on Business Recycling
Leaders in local business show that recycling is good for business
Annapolis, MD (March 28, 2011) - County Executive John R. Leopold today announced that several local business leaders will join a discussion next month about how to boost the commercial recycling rate in Anne Arundel County.
"Arundel Mills, Northrop Grumman and Anne Arundel Medical Center, as well as our Public Schools, are showing that they are leaders in our community by serving on this panel," County Executive Leopold said. "This is an opportunity for businesses large and small to see what others are doing and how they can improve recycling. Most importantly, our goal is to demonstrate that recycling is good for business and good for your bottom line."
The forum will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at the Henry L. Hein Public Service Building, 7480 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Suite 100, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. The program will allow for audience questions and answers and will be taped to air on Comcast 98 and Verizon 38. Admission is free.
