Annapolis, MD (December 26, 2010) - County Executive Leopold will mobilize Department of Public Works crews at 7 a.m. in advance of a winter storm forecast for the Baltimore region. "Our forces are prepared with a full supply of salt and deicer, and will mobilize as needed throughout the day," County Executive Leopold said. "We will activate all 72 County dump trucks and as many as 165 contractors as needed." The National Weather Service is calling for snow to begin falling overnight with accumulations of 3 to 5 inches through Sunday and an additional 4 to 6 inches Sunday night.
