Annapolis, Maryland (November 25, 2009) - The Anne Arundel County Office of Planning and Zoning will begin accepting applications for zoning changes through the comprehensive zoning process beginning December 1, 2009 through February 12, 2010. The application form and instructions are available on the county's website. Applications can be downloaded from the website, or completed online and submitted electronically. Additionally, applications are available in the Office of Planning and Zoning, Heritage Office Complex, 2664 Riva Road, 4th floor map counter. Requests for changes in comprehensive zoning are evaluated based on consistency with the County's planning goals and objectives, compatibility with surrounding land uses, potential impacts on public facilities, and other related criteria.
