Construction will close 400 feet of Rockhold Creek Road for five days Annapolis (October 20, 2009) - A portion of Rockhold Creek Road in Deale will be closed Monday October 26 through Friday October 30, as Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) crews continue construction of the Deale Road Sewer Extension capital project. The closure will be from the intersection of Rockhold Creek Road and Deale Road to a point 400 feet north of the intersection on Rockhold Creek Road. Members of the community petitioned DPW Water Utility Operations for this project. DPW contractors will construct eight thousand linear feet of piping to provide public sewer service to 38 properties and eliminate 38 septic systems that eventually drain into the Chesapeake Bay. Detour signs have been posted. |
