Annapolis, MD (January 8, 2008) - County Executive John R. Leopold cordially invites all Anne Arundel county community association board members to the first annual Community Connections Day on February 9, 2008, at The Village of Waugh Chapel Community Room, Gambrills, MD, and March 8, 2008, at the Anne Arundel Community College campus in Arnold, MD. "It is my hope that Community Connections Day will foster stronger cooperation and open communication between the county’s workforce and the community," County Executive John R. Leopold stated. Connections Day is a way to provide community leaders with the tools necessary to gather information effectively and efficiently within County departments. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other community association leaders and learn about county resources and services directly from the experts in an exhibition-style setting. Those who attend the February 9th Community Connections Day at 10 a.m. will have the opportunity to meet County Executive John R. Leopold.
