County's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report Receives Highest Recognition Annapolis (June 3, 2008) - County Executive John R. Leopold today announced that Anne Arundel County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for Fiscal Year 2007 received the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. Its attainment by the county represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
