County Executive John R. Leopold Announces Annapolis Symphony Orchestra to Perform a Free Grand Finale Summer Concert at Quiet Waters Park
County Executive John R. Leopold announced today that Anne Arundel County and the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will partner to provide a free Grand Finale Summer Concert at Quiet Waters Park on Labor Day.
The program, conducted by Music Director José-Luis Novo states, will showcase a variety of musical selections offering the audience a chance to celebrate the end of summer with exciting music. The program will also include a taste of what ASO has in store for our upcoming season; which will include symphonic masterworks mixed with popular favorites that cover many different musical tastes.
"I would personally like to thank the business community and the ASO," said County Executive John R. Leopold. "Anne Arundel County is pleased to be a partner in making this concert possible for public enjoyment."
"The Labor Day weekend should be a fun time for the entire family," said Director of Recreation and Parks Frank Marzucco. "Enjoy a free family fun affair in beautiful Quiet Waters Park while listening to the sounds of the ASO."
