Annapolis (February 22, 2007) -- The Department of Public Works, Bureau of Waste Management reminds residents that fallen tree limbs and brush as a result of the winter storm last week can be handled in the following ways:
Place yard waste at the curb on your regular recycling collection day using the following guidelines:
Brush and branches can either be bundled or in a container of choice marked with an "X". Tie bundles securely with twine. Bundles and containers may not weigh more than 40 pounds each, be longer than four feet, or contain branches that exceed four inches in diameter.There is no limit to the amount of yard waste that can be put out for collection.
