Commercial and Industrial Establishments In Broadcreek Service Area May Experience Continuous Water Flow In Certain Fixtures After Water Main Break

Annapolis (December 6, 2007) - Due to this morning's water main break, commercial and industrial establishments in the Broadcreek service area may experience continuous water flow in certain plumbing fixtures (i.e. urinals and toilets).

The continuous flow problem may be resulting from material being dislodged from the interior of water pipes and trapping debris in the flush valve.

Businesses are advised to survey their plumbing fixtures to determine if they are experiencing a continuous flow problem. Report problems to your building maintenance personnel.
