Annapolis (July 11, 2007) - The Office of Planning and Zoning has scheduled a public meeting regarding the future operation of the C-50 bus route ("The South County Connection") that runs from Spa Road to Deale and back to the Annapolis Transit transfer center. Annapolis Transit officials have notified the County that they want to discontinue the service. The meeting is scheduled for August 13, 2007 to be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Southern District Police Station located at 35 Stepney Lane in Edgewater. Anyone interested in learning more about the future of the bus line is encouraged to attend.
