Annapolis, MD (March 22, 2006) - Anne Arundel County Executive Janet S. Owens announced a new program, airing on the PEG Channel 98, which will keep residents up to date on County government issues and agencies. "Not only does the program tell you what’s going on in County government, employees themselves fill you in on the weeks activities," said Ms. Owens. The program is called "Anne Arundel County Week in Review" and showcases different agencies along with County news, sports, legislative reports, County Council updates, pet adoptions and even current job openings. "County residents will be able to get inside County issues, and better understand all that is accomplished on a weekly basis. Just as important, residents will be able to see how their tax dollars are being spent," said County Executive Owens. The program airs on Cable Channel 98 (both Comcast and Millennium) Fridays at: 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays at: 6:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., Noon, 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. |
