Annapolis, MD (February 2, 2006) - Anne Arundel County Executive Janet S. Owens continues to urge County senior citizens to take advantage of the new Medicare Part D Assistance Center, located on Riva Road in Annapolis. "In just one week, we are seeing first hand the real urgency of the situation. This center is addressing the concerns of sixty seniors a day, and no one is walking away with out the necessary information to get the coverage that is right for them," said Ms. Owens. The Medicare Part D Assistance Center allows County seniors to come in, free of charge, and work with professionals from the Department of Aging and Disabilities. The professionals will answer questions specific to Medicare Part D and will discuss options with the seniors to get the best coverage for their needs. The Medicare Part D Assistance Center is open Monday through Friday, but seniors must make an appointment by calling (410) 222-4464. The Center is located at 2666 Riva Road in the Heritage Office Complex  , Suite #110. |
