County Announces Comprehensive Critical Area Program Update - Public Meetings Scheduled
Annapolis (June 12, 2006) - The Anne Arundel County Land Use Office, in cooperation with the Office of Planning and Zoning, the Department of Inspections and Permits, and the Office of Law, announce the release of draft legislation on the County’s Critical Area Program.
The draft legislation seeks to include provisions requested by the Critical Area Commission and to bring further certainty to the requirements applicable in the critical area. The legislation favors simple, clear, and reasonable requirements that fully protect the critical area.
The public is invited to attend a public meeting to learn more about the proposed legislation and provide input. The meetings are scheduled as follows:
