Annapolis (August, 12, 2005) - County Executive Janet S. Owens congratulates the marina owners and operators from Anne Arundel County who have been certified by the Department of Natural Resources as "Maryland Clean Marinas." Of 21 marinas certified this year Statewide, five are from Anne Arundel County. In order to be certified, marinas must have voluntarily adopted a significant proportion of the pollution control recommendations in the Maryland Clean Marina Guidebook.
