Annapolis, MD (November 23, 2005) - Anne Arundel County Executive Janet S. Owens today announced the appointment of Sushant Sidh as the Governmental Relations Officer. In the position, Mr. Sidh will serve as the County liaison to the County Council, the Maryland General Assembly and other policy making and legislative bodies.
“I am pleased that Mr. Sidh accepted the appointment. He is eminently qualified for this position. I have worked with him for several years, and welcome him to the County’s executive team,” said County Executive Owens.
Mr. Sidh has held government relations positions for government agencies, and in private industry since 1996. In these positions he has promoted legislation on local, state and national levels, as well as guided public policy and coordinated the implementation of government programs. Mr. Sidh holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Public Communications at American University.
Mr. Sidh assumed the position on November 21, 2005 at a salary of $64,480 a year. |
