Annapolis (August 17, 2005) - County Executive Janet S. Owens today announced the appointment of Rhonda Wardlaw as the Director of Communications. In this position, Ms. Wardlaw will oversee communications with the press, media and county management with respect to the administration’s policies and issues that affect the citizens of Anne Arundel County. Ms. Wardlaw comes to Anne Arundel County with more than 25 years of experience in television and radio. In her most recent position, Ms. Wardlaw served as News Director for WNAV1430 Radio in Annapolis. "I am very pleased that Ms. Wardlaw has accepted this appointment. Her strong communications background and experience, coupled with her knowledge of Anne Arundel County, will be a real asset to the citizens of this County," said County Executive Janet S. Owens. Ms. Wardlaw starts her position on August 25, 2005 at a salary of $81,000 a year. |
