Temporary road closure scheduled for Brock Bridge Road

'

Annapolis (September 30, 2005) - The Department of Public Works has granted approval of a temporary road closure on Brock Bridge Road between Maryland Route 198 and Whiskey Bottom Road in Laurel. Road closures will be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. weekdays with some weekend work possible. Daily road closures will start on or about October 3, 2005 and will extend through the end of December, 2005. During periods of closure, an alternate detour route is available and has been posted. Emergency services and responders have been notified.

The closures are necessary for the installation of a new sanitary sewer being installed by the Corman Construction Company of Annapolis Junction, Maryland as part of the Annapolis Junction Business Park being developed by Konterra Limited Partnership .The utility work is necessary for the expansion of the public sewerage system. Local residents and businesses currently connected to the public water and sewer should see no interruption to their existing utility service.
