Titan Opens New Complex in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Washington, D.C. - October 27, 2004 -The Titan Corporation (NYSE:TTN), a leading national security solutions provider, will officially open tomorrow its new 157,000 square-foot office complex in Annapolis Junction’s National Business Park, located just off the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Headquarters for the company’s National Intelligence Solutions Group, this newly constructed five-story facility will accommodate over 600 employees.

“Titan’s support to the intelligence community in Maryland began in 1996 with a staff of just four people,” said Gene Ray, Titan’s chairman, president and CEO. “A year ago, we had about 450 employees supporting the Maryland Intelligence Community. Today with the company’s growing focus in national security, we have more than doubled our presence to over 900 people and have won several significant contracts that will be housed in this new Annapolis facility. Our team and new facility reflect the best capabilities and technology available to respond to the needs of our nation’s intelligence services.”

An architecturally unique building leased through Corporate Office Properties Trust, Titan’s newest facility will serve as the company’s Maryland-area headquarters for four divisions providing engineering, enterprise architecture, manufacturing, systems development, and training to the Department of Defense and intelligence communities. Several weeks ago, Titan also opened another new 280,000 square-foot, 16-story office complex in Reston Town Center, Virginia, which will accommodate over 1,000 employees.
