Annapolis (July 13, 2004) - Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) officials will begin a three month Western Tributary Stream Restoration Project this week in the Gingerville Manor Estates, Gingerville and Wilelinor Estates areas.  This work is a Maryland Department of the Environment requirement to remediate impacts of the Science Park Access Road Improvement project and will improve water quality within the Church Creek drainage area.

Construction will take place west of MD Rt. 2 and north of Admiral Cochrane Drive (ADC Map 20, Grid B-11).  The public will encounter the maintenance of traffic for access to and from the site, sediment and erosion controls, excavation and plantings.  Traffic will only be altered between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Work is expected to be complete by the middle of October.
