Annapolis (June 23, 2004) - Anne Arundel Executive Janet S. Owens recently appointed Gail E. Smith of Annapolis to the Board of Directors of the County Mental Health Agency and Barbara Altomonte of Crofton to the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts Board of Directors. "I am please to appoint Gail Smith and reappoint Barbara Altomonte," said the County Executive. "Both work extremely hard to improve the quality of life in Anne Arundel County." Ms. Altomonte's term expires June 30, 2005 and Ms. Smith's term expires June 1, 2005. The Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency is responsible for planning, managing and monitoring public mental health services in Anne Arundel County. The Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts serves the Anne Arundel County community by providing a broad range of creative experiences through quality arts education and culturally diverse programs in the performing and visual arts. |
