ANNPOLIS, MD - People wishing to rent the Blue Heron Center at Quiet Waters Park will now be able to choose which catering firms they would like for their functions. The clients will be responsible for supplying the necessary documentation demonstrating that their caterer meets certain Health Department and insurance requirements. The County Executive made this decision to allow clients a more flexible catering arrangement and provide more economic opportunities for area caterers. The fee structure has been reviewed and new rates will go into effect at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2003. "Even with a modest rental fee increase, the Blue Heron Center at Quiet Waters Park remains a beautiful site and an affordable option for events in Anne Arundel County," Ms. Owens said.
