Korean, Spanish and English Versions Available on County's Web Site

Annapolis (December 15,  2003) - Anne Arundel County has posted the "Guide to Emergency Preparedness" in Korean on this web site.

The "Guide to Emergency Preparedness" was mailed to all County residents last year.  The purpose of the free guide is to provide basic information to all households on preparing for a variety of emergency conditions. The guide provides practical and comprehensive information, including recommendations on identifying essential supplies for emergencies, handling major power outages, establishing a shelter-in-place kit and disaster planning for pets.

Free Internet access is available at County libraries.  Residents may call the County's Emergency Operations Center to request paper copies of the Guide in Korean, Spanish or English at (410) 222-8040.
