County Officials Recommend Voluntary Evacuation for Residents in Parts of Southern Anne Arundel

County Rapidly Rising Water with Swift Currents

Millersville, MD (Sept. 19, 2003) - Due to rapidly rising waters with swift currents, Anne Arundel County officials recommend voluntary evacuation to approximately 700 residents with direct waterfront property in the following 8 communities located in Southern Anne Arundel County.

  • Deale
  • Snug Harbor
  • Shadyside
  • Franklin Manor
  • Columbia Beach
  • Rosehaven
  • Fairhaven
  • West River South to County Line
