A complete Grading Permit Application must be submitted for all new homes in the Critical Area to address Stormwater Management. Limitations of the Standard Grading Plan Applications: - The lot must be on a paved, graveled or publicly maintained street where storm drainage facilities are in operation and road side ditches stabilized
- Stormwater management facilities are not required on this lot
- Ground disturbance will be less than 15,000 sq. ft (5,000 sq. ft. in Critical Area)
- Steep slopes will not be disturbed (15% and greater in Critical Area) and a 25 foot buffer must be maintained from the top of 25% or greater slopes subject to sensitive area criteria
- Development will take place on no more than three (3) contiguous lots, provided that the limitations established by the standards and specifications are not exceeded. Specifically, the following limitations for silt fence may not be exceeded:

Slope | Slope Length | Site Fence Length | 2:1 & steeper | 20 ft | 125 ft | 3:2 to 2:1 | 40 ft | 250 ft | 5:1 to 3:1 | 60 ft | 500 ft | 10:1 to 5:1 | 100 ft | 750 ft | 50:1 to 10:1 | 125 ft | 1000 ft | Less than 50:1 | 300 ft | unlimited |

3. Silt fence must be placed on or parallel to contours where there is no concentration of water flowing to the silt fence and erosion will occur only in the form of sheet erosion. he area below the silt fence must be undisturbed ground.
