Q: Do I need a license to sell products in Anne Arundel County?

A: If the product is taken door to door or moved about in a vehicle, a Hucksters License is required. If a stand to sell the product is utilized, and the customers come to you, the vendor, then a Roadside Vendor License is required. Call 410-222-7788 for an application or information.

Q: I have a State Trade License (electric, plumbing, HVAC, etc.); how do I obtain a County License?
|

A: You may obtain an application at our main office located at 2664 Riva Road, 2nd Floor, Annapolis, MD 21401. After completing the application, simply show your State license, provide your insurance certificate, and pay the fee.

Q: How do I go about taking a test for a trade license?
|
|
A: Simply come into our office located at 2664 Riva Road, 2nd Floor, Annapolis, MD 21401, complete an application and pay an exam fee. The application is then reviewed by the board to determine if the applicant is qualified to take the test. If so, a test date will be scheduled. Also check with State Licensing at 410-230-6270, as testing may also be scheduled, and a State License may be used to reciprocate with the County.
