The program encompasses one full academic year of half-day classes and some weekends for hands on training and testing. After successful completion of this program, cadets will be eligible for State and National Certification as a Firefighter II and EMT-B. All training is conducted at the Anne Arundel County Fire Department Training Academy. Bus transportation from certain schools to the Training Academy is provided by the Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
