Classes scheduled at the Training Academy will be canceled if any of the following apply: 1. The Maryland State Police Snow Emergency Plan is in effect 2 hours prior to the start of class. This information can be found on the State Highway Administrations website http://www.chart.state.md.us/StormInfo/snow_emergency_plans.asp 2. Classes may be canceled at the discretion of the instructor. | |||||||

| The Primary mission of the Training and Research Division is to provide on-going training, education and certification to fire service personnel necessary to insure a competent, efficient and effective emergency response organization.
