Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 0700 - 1700 Hours

Inclement Weather Policy:

Classes scheduled at the Training Academy will be canceled if any of the following apply:

1. The Maryland State Police Snow Emergency Plan is in effect 2 hours prior to the start of class. This information can be found on the State Highway Administrations website http://www.chart.state.md.us/StormInfo/snow_emergency_plans.asp

2. Classes may be canceled at the discretion of the instructor.

The Primary mission of the Training and Research Division is to provide on-going training, education and certification to fire service personnel necessary to insure a competent, efficient and effective emergency response organization. It is the further mission of this division to provide the necessary research, evaluation and recommendations for new products and procedures necessary to maintain a state-of-the-art emergency response organization.
