Sergeant Christopher Foran has been employed with the Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facilities for over ten years. He is a veteran supervisor who goes about his job quietly and effectively and has a good rapport with staff and inmates alike. He is helpful to other departments and networks with outside agencies. Sergeant Foran is also active in the community, participating in events like the Polar Bear plunge and Torch Run for Special Olympics. Sergeant Foran is a key member of the Security Threat Group Committee, and in that role, contributes to ensuring the security of Jennifer Road Detention Center. He has extensive knowledge on Security Threat Groups and works diligently to identify and validate inmates as members. He readily and responsibly shares information he has developed and consistently keeps in contact with Committee members to keep abreast them of the latest “intel.” With demonstrated dedication and professionalism, Sergeant Foran has proven himself to be a credit to the Bureau of Security Operations, the Jennifer Road Detention Center and the Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facilities.
