Internship Opportunities: The Ecological Assessment Program offers volunteer-based internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in biology, environmental science, environmental or water resources related engineering, or a related field of physical science. Volunteer interns will have the opportunity to assist County staff with special projects by performing research on various technical topics related to water quality and riparian habitat conditions, and will assist in water quality data analyses. Volunteer interns will also have opportunities to participate in field activities associated with sample collection in wadable streams, flow measurements, and operation and maintenance of automated storm sampling equipment.
