Utilizes tire chips as a supplemental fuel in its cement kilm to replace up to 35% of the process heat needed to convert raw material into cement
Harford Waste to Energy Facility/Incinerator
1 Magnolia Road
Processes up to 360 tons per day of municipal solid waste with a tire content of up to 72 tons per day. Steam is generated at the facility to produce electricity for Aberdeen Proving Ground Army Base
Wheelabrator Baltimore LP

Approved to burn scrap tires with municipal solid waste.
