Report a Missed Recycling or Trash Collection

>> 2008 Holiday Collection Schedule

To find your days of collection, visit www.aacounty.org and click on MyAnneArundel. Select “Search by Address” and follow the instructions.

The best way to report a missed collection or other problem with your curbside service is to call us at (410) 222-6100 before 4:00pm the day of or after 7:30am the morning after your missed collection.

E-mail is a great communication tool, but for missed collections or other curbside collection problems, the fastest way for us to solve problems is by speaking with you directly.

Before you call, however, please realize that recycling, yard waste, and trash are collected by different trucks that come to your neighborhood at different times of the day. Recycling may be collected by two different trucks, one for paper, cans, bottles and jars, and one for yard waste. If this is the case, then these trucks will look just like trash trucks, but will be clearly marked with a recycle symbol. The recycling, trash, and yard waste trucks may make collections in your neighborhood until 6:00 p.m. So, before you report a missed collection, please be sure that you have allowed adequate time for the collection to occur.

If your collection did not occur, leave your items at the curb, and call (410) 222-6100 to tell us about it. Our Inspectors will look into the problem as quickly as possible.
