Only small loads (approximately one level pickup truck bed full) of recyclable materials (cans, bottles, jars and paper, and yard waste) will be accepted from commercial customers. Fee Schedule may apply. A maximum of 5 minutes unloading time is allowed for each material. All customers must be off site 15 minutes after closing.

- Any color glass bottle or jar
- Plastic bottles and jugs
Concrete, Brick, Block, Asphalt, and Stone - Separate from trash so they can be recycled
Construction Debris - Consists of shingles, siding, windows, roofing, lumber, attached dirt, and other similar materials
- Dirt by itself is not accepted
- No asbestos
Electronics - Computer monitors, TV's, VCR's, CPU's, computer mice, keyboards, cell phones, printers, power supplies, laptops, scanners, computer cables and cords, miscellaneous circuit boards, chips, cards and other computer or electronic related accessories.
| Furniture - Mattresses, box springs, and other types of furniture
Household Trash - Remove recyclable, reusable, and hazardous materials
Latex Paint - Emptied or dried out paint cans will be accepted in your trash. Oil based paint is hazardous and is only accepted at Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Days. Latex paint is not hazardous, but leaves a sticky mess on employees, equipment, and your streets so please dry it out, place in a trash bag, and then place at the curb on your regular trash collection day.
Pallets - Separate pallets from other items
- Remove any metal or plastic banding
Paper/Cardboard - Mixed paper and cardboard include almost every type of paper product that comes into your home or business.
Scrap Metal/White Goods - Items with freon (refrigerators, humidifiers, air conditioners) must be lifted not tossed, from unloading vehicle, into the designated defreoning area.
- Wire and wire fencing should be disposed with trash and not in the scrap metal/white goods recycling area.
Tires - Passenger or light truck tires only
- A limit of four tires is accepted without charge. A limit of four tires is enforced at the Convenience Centers. More than four tires will be accepted at the Millersville Landfill, for a fee.
Uncontaminated Antifreeze Uncontaminated Motor Oil Yard Waste - Leaves, grass clippings, trees (including Christmas trees) and brush (such as twigs, prunings, and small branches)
Material Available to Residents at the Convenience Center - Rubble: Is available for County residents and is free on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be loaded by residents. To avoid inconvenience, call (410) 222-6177 before making a trip; quantities may vary.
Directions:
From Route 32, take the exit for Burns Crossing Road to the traffic light. At this traffic light, turn right on to Burns Crossing Road. Travel approximately 1/4 mile to another traffic light at Pascal Blvd; this is the entrance to the landfill portion of the facility. Continue on Burns Crossing Road approximately 100 yards and turn right into the entrance of the Millersville Convenience Center.
