Current Road Construction in Anne Arundel County for Week of 5/12/2008

Old Ferry Slip Road near the Toll Plaza of the Bay Bridge will close to traffic on or about August 27, 2007 and remain closed until December of 2009. During this time the entrance to the Northrop Grumman Facility will be relocated to Oceanic Drive.

| RIVA ROAD LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED - Annapolis (March 29, 2007)—The Department of Inspections and Permits announced today several lane closures scheduled along the Riva Road corridor. The Department of Inspections and Permits, in accordance with approved development plans, will provide inspection services for the following infrastructure improvements within County roadways through June of this year: | |
These improvements to the public infrastructure are required as part of the development approval process. The Department of Inspections and Permits provides inspection oversight during construction. Additional lane closures around the Annapolis Towne Centre project are expected through the Summer of 2008. Additional information will be provided on the scope and schedule of road work as that information is confirmed. Motorists should plan trips accordingly and exercise caution when traveling through any of these work zones, heeding traffic control personnel and signs. |
