The agenda is available in the Council Chambers the evening of the meeting. The agenda is held open until the meeting is called to order. (The agenda posted on this siteis tentative.)
Anyone wishing to speak on legislation may sign up beginning at 6:30 p.m.. Sign-ups may begin at 6:00 p.m. with notice given if legislation is expected to draw a large public attendance.
The public is encouraged and invited to attend. A reasonable amount of time is allotted to the public to address the Council on pertinent matters. Members of the public who wish to speak should, after being recognized by the presiding officer, state their name, home address, organization represented (if applicable), the subject matter, whether they are speaking for or against the matter and their remarks.
In order that all those who wish to speak at County Council meetings may do so, individual speakers should limit their remarks to no more than two minutes. Additional written testimony may be submitted and distributed to the County Council.
