Chris Trumbauer grew up in Chestertown on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He has lived in Anne Arundel County since 1997.Chris received a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from University of Maryland – College Park. After working several years for a small water treatment business in Baltimore, he took a job with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in 1999. At DNR he ran a water quality monitoring program which assessed the Chesapeake Bay and its numerous rivers and streams. In 2008, Chris became the West/Rhode Riverkeeper, where he is a leading advocate for the health of Anne Arundel County Rivers. Chris has been involved with numerous civic organizations and served as Chair for Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen’s Environmental Transition Team. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Anne Arundel Flagship program. Chris lives in Annapolis with his wife Mary and two children, Johnny and Josephine. |
