Derek Fink, Councilman, Third District, is serving his first term on the Council and is the current Chairman of the County Council. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A. Degree in Political Science. After graduating from college, Mr. Fink worked for Governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. and then on Capitol Hill for Congressman Ed Whitfield. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) as well as the Robert A. Pascal Youth & Family Services Center and is a member of the Cox Creek Citizens Oversight Committee and the Pasadena Business Association. He is a former Board member of the 100 Club of Anne Arundel County. Mr. Fink is a small business owner who lives in Pasadena with his wife, Kristin. |
