Mail to County Council
Please be advised that most correspondence to State and local government agencies in Maryland is subject to Maryland's Public Information Act, and at the Federal level, to the Freedom of Information Act. In an effort to develop story ideas, The Capital newspaper has requested copies of e-mails that are sent to us. Under the provisions of the Public Information Act, the County is required to provide most of this correspondence to The Capital or other requesting media outlets.
As an alternative to e-mail, if you have questions or concerns that you do not wish to share with The Capital or other media outlets, you are welcome to call the Council Office at (410) 222-1401.
Please note that we welcome your correspondence in any format you prefer, be it an e-mail, a letter or a phone call. Due to the personal nature of so many constituent's email messages, it is important that you know about the Public Information Act and The Capital's request in advance.
