The Naval Academy Band will be performing in Annapolis, MD on Monday, October 7 in honor of the Navy’s 238th Birthday.
At 4:00 p.m. the marching band will march down Maryland Avenue, beginning at Gate 3 of the Naval Academy, and proceed to State Circle. At 4:45 p.m. the Ceremonial Band will present a patriotic concert at Lawyer’s Mall on State Circle. This event will take place rain or shine. In case of rain, the patriotic concert will take place inside the State Capitol.
The United States Naval Academy Band, “The Navy’s Oldest and Finest,” has been providing music for the Brigade of Midshipmen and surrounding community since 1852. Located at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, this premier military band offers fifteen world-class ensembles which perform a variety of musical styles, ranging from classical to contemporary.
Naval Academy Band concerts are free and open to the public with no tickets required.
