Department of Health Holds Health Care Reform Forum at the Arundel Center,
Announces Location Change for the September 4 Public Meeting
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has announced a change in location for its Wednesday, September 4 Health Care Reform Forum. The September 4 public forum will be held in the County Council Chambers of the Arundel Center, 44 Calvert Street, in Annapolis at 6:30 p.m. The forum has been moved to the Arundel Center location from the Annapolis Public Library in order to provide a larger seating venue for attendees. The evening's presentations are also scheduled to be televised by County Television (Broadstripe/Comcast Channel 98 and Verizon Channel 38).
The September 4 program is the fourth in a series of eight health care reform informational forums hosted by the Department of Health in conjunction with the Anne Arundel County Executive’s Office, the County Department of Aging and Disabilities, and the County Department of Social Services. Representatives from HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) are scheduled to attend the forums. HCAM is the Central Region Connector responsible for helping uninsured residents in the County learn about, apply for and enroll in health insurance.
