Self Wash Saturday: Wash Away Cancer One Pet at a Time

Sat. May 17, 2014 (All Day)
See Description

At every Pet Valu with self-washing stations, all money collected from the $10 self wash services will be donated to the Animal Cancer Foundation, a unique organization that combines the work of both veterinary and human oncologists. All test subjects are pets, not lab animals, and all research conducted by the foundation must also help further human related cancer research. Pet Valu’s unique self washing stations are a convenient way to wash your pet. Pet Parents come in, tie on an apron, wash their pet, dry them and walk out - with all products provided by Pet Valu. Pet Parents can clean their dog and leave the mess behind. Veterinary oncologists will also be on site for the event at select Pet Valu locations to educate pet owners on how to check their four legged friends for signs of cancer, most easily done during the bathing process.
