Prior to adopting or purchasing any pet, it is important to know that the type of pet you select is compatible with one's lifestyle. In addition, it is important to be familiar with the animal control laws that pertain to the pet of your choice. Animal Control adoption regulations require that all currently owned pets be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and animal licensing. Landlord approval is needed for tenants of rental properties. Adoption Requirements: - Drivers License
- Proof of current address (if not the same as your drivers license)
Type of living arrangements: - Proof of ownership
- Renting a home or apartment (you will need the following)
- Rental Agreement and/or
- Lease Agreement and/or
- Landlord's phone number
- Proof of current Rabies vaccination on all pets residing at residence
Adoption Fees: (payable by cash or check only) - Preliminary Exam
- Spay/Neuter Surgery
- Distemper/Rabies Vaccinations
- Worming
- License (if applicable)
