| Subsidized Independent Living Apartments |

| The renter pays 30% of total adjusted income (including income from assets). A waiting list is maintained by the Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County, the Annapolis Housing Authority and privately managed Section 8 complexes. |

| Those who claim one or more of the following mitigating factors may be given some preferential consideration. |
| |
- 62 years or older
- Anne Arundel County resident
- Disabled
- Rent burdened (paying more than half of income for rent)

| In addition, factors such as homelessness, displacement, substandard residence, physical victimization may be considered. |
