Friendly Visitor Program

Friendship is Priceless

The best prescription for loneliness is friendship. For those who are homebound and have little social contact, the perfect prescription can be a weekly Friendly Visitor. The Friendly Visitor spends at least one hour each week visiting in the home of the homebound client.

Effort is made to match visitors and clients who live in the same geographic area and have similar interests. The goal is to provide a rewarding experience for the visitor and client.
