Workshop #2 - Who’s on First? Communicating with a dementia-affected loved one. Dementia-affected people live in an altered state of existence. They have difficulty expressing and receivinginformation, making communicating a frustrating experience for everyone. Participants in this workshop willlearn practical tips about how to effectively communicate and establish solid ground-work for managing unpleasantbehaviors.
Workshop #3 - Mission NOT Impossible: Managing behaviors in a dementia-affected loved one The altered state of existence someone with dementia experiences causes frustration, anger, and fear. Thisworkshop will teach participants how to successfully prevent and manage disturbing behaviors while keepingblood pressure under control!
