Workshop

Students will create their own watches, earrings, necklaces and bracelets by using all types of beaded gems. There is no fee for the workshop, but students will pay per project. Sign-up required. Workshop held Tuesdays, May 6, 13, & 20th, 10:00—12:00 @ the ANNEX.

The giving wisely program teaches Maryland citizens how to make informed decisions when giving money to a charitable organization. The presentation will cover ways to avoid being scammed, and how to determine if a charity is reputable. Presented by Brian Moe, Deputy Secretary of State from the Executive Department.

Appraiser, Joel Litzky, will give a brief overview on appraising antiques. Afterwards, Joel will see people (by individual appointments) to appraise their items. Appointments are scheduled on 10 minute intervals. Each person is limited to no more than 3 items.
