Annapolis - The county Health Department's Web site now provides a link with up-to-date information on the swine flu. Users can visit the Health Department website and click on the link for H1N1 (Swine) flu to review fact sheets and videos on flu-prevention and symptoms. The department also has entered the social networking era by providing other information about public-health topics on Twitter. To date, there have been more than 30 cases of swine flu identified in the county. Officials said that does not reflect the spread of the illness because many people recover without needing medical care. The Web site also provides plans to keep your workplace and home safe during the upcoming flu season. |
