The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities (DoAD) offers exciting partnership and sponsorship opportunities that are available to the business and private sector during the year and for the upcoming year. 

Sponsorship opportunities with the Department of Aging and Disabilities enable you to target and market your services or products to older adults, baby boomers, families, informal and professional caregivers, geriatric care managers, and others. Maximize your marketing dollars through sponsorship opportunities with the Department.

The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities is grateful for our sponsors; however the Department does not endorse any particular vendor or business. Anne Arundel County has the right to approve or reject potential sponsors.

Family Caregiver Workshop Series – On-going Support Opportunities

Caregiver Workshops are held in all Anne Arundel County’s Senior Centers during both day and evening hours. Businesses can sponsor one or more three-session series or the entire workshop series for a particular topic.

Summer 2010

Trapped Between Two Worlds: Addressing the issues of caring for older loved ones while raising a family.

The Sponsor's name will be included in advertisement, including postcards, fliers and brochures, which will be distributed at senior centers, libraries, businesses, and other locations reaching more than 5000 targeted people in and around Anne Arundel County. The sponsor will also be mentioned in press releases, newspaper advertisements, print and web community calendars and any feature articles. Sponsors can display their information at the sponsored workshops or provide material for attendees. Only one sponsor will be selected for a three-series session.

Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,000 for an individual workshop series to $7,000 for sponsoring the entire season of workshops.

Sponsorships for one-time workshops held during the summer months at each of the County’s Senior Centers are available at the rate of $300 per session or $2,000 to sponsor the Summer Series.

Annual Caregivers' Conference – April 10, 2010 Sponsorship Opportunities

This annual event attracts more than one hundred family and professional caregivers from Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas. Display tables and sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $2,500.

Future Sponsorship Opportunities

Future sponsorship activities include additional Legal and Financial Planning Workshops to be held throughout Anne Arundel County. Dates will be announced.

Annual Caregivers’ Wellness Day (September, 2010), a free event for family and other informal caregivers. The day is planned to educate and pamper the unsung heroes who care for Anne Arundel County’s frail, disabled, and elderly citizens. This annual event attracts family caregivers from Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas
