Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Accessible Conference Room at the Anne Arundel County Aging and Disability Resource Center Takes Place on Tuesday, September 10, 2013

 

What: County Executive Laura Neuman, the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities, and the Commission on Disability Issues will unveil the new Accessible Conference Room at the Anne Arundel County Aging and Disability Resource Center.  The room currently features state of the art assisted listening devices and speaker systems, power doors, an accessible ramp, and tables and chairs that can be easily arranged in a variety of configurations.  The room will soon be enhanced by Smart Board technology.  Artwork from this year’s Artists Without Limits Art Exhibit adorns the walls.  Guests can tour the Accessible Conference Room and learn more information about the Commission on Disability Issues and the various programs and services provided by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
